Intro to Mindfulness Meditation
Learn about Mindfulness Meditation and uncover why meditation is the link between your mind, body and health. You will set the foundation for a daily meditation practice. Meditation techniques will include sound meditation tools and incorporate simple methods you can use at home. James & Joyce will will lead our group and will incorporate their knowledge from studies & meditation/yoga practice. Our focus will be on simple techniques that have proven effective. Mindfulness Meditation explained in Plain English!
- Workshop focus will be on meditation practice and tips and techniques for success.
- Be prepared for a 20 minute seated guided meditation session.
- Be prepared to share about your meditation practice and experiences.
- Vipassana meditation techniques. (Breath and sensation awareness)
- Sound Meditation: Binaural beats, chanting, singing bowls etc…)

James and Joyce have over 2200 combined hours teaching yoga & meditation and are Experienced Registered Yoga Teachers (ERYT) with the Yoga Alliance. Modern Yoga is a Registered Yoga School (RYS) with the Yoga Alliance.
With backgrounds in corporate America and small business, coupled with the entrepreneurial spirit, James and Joyce first discussed the idea of opening a studio in the fall of 2014. After months of research and planning, James Joyce LLC was formed in March of 2015 with the intention of opening a Power Vinyasa Yoga studio in Strongsville, Ohio.
