I began practicing yoga over 20 years ago while away at college. I initially loved the way I felt after a yoga class and through the years I have sprinkled it into my fitness routine. I was able to stay healthy, manage my career, travel the world and raise a growing family because yoga provides the balance I need by keeping me grounded and injury free. I received my Yoga teacher training at the 200 hour level from Marni Task Yoga in 2014, CYT & RYT. I am a certified personal trainer and an avid athlete/runner for over 30 years. My yoga training is in Jivasara which is inspired by the styles of Jivamukti & Anusara. My yoga education includes: anatomy, alignment, hands on adjustments, philosophy, meditation, history & theraputics. I enjoy incorporating many styles of yoga into my practice to meet the needs of my students. I believe in motivating my students to take care of the entire person by connecting their body, mind and spirit. I can help them find creative ways to manage their health & wellness at home, at work and with a busy life. I believe in the importance of yoga/physical fitness in my life and would love the opportunity to help others any way I can.
